Public Safety Dispatcher

     The City of Euclid Police Department is accepting applications for current and future vacancies.  Applicants must be available to work all shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends.  You must be at least 18 years of age, a high school graduate or GED equivalent.  Excellent customer service and communication skills desired as well as the ability to manage priorities and multi-task in a fast paced, high stress environment.  Duties include but not limited to; answering 911 as well as other emergency and non emergency phone lines, operate multi-channel radio systems, computer aided dispatching and utilizing multiple other software systems, and emergency medical dispatching.  Successful candidates must pass an oral interview, physical, polygraph, drug screen and extensive background investigation.
